DMCA Notice

Last updated: 26 October 2026. Copyright in the material published here, and the procedure for copyright complaints under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Our material

The text, design, code, images and other material on mysurvivalzone.com are original works owned by the operator of this website or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. What you may do with them without asking is set out in the Terms of Use: read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

Republishing our material, reproducing substantial parts of it, or using it to train or populate another service is not permitted without written permission. Requests go to legal@mysurvivalzone.com and should say which material and where it would appear.

If you believe we have infringed your copyright

We respect the rights of others and respond to properly made complaints. If you own, or are authorised to act for the owner of, a work that you believe has been copied onto this website in a way that infringes copyright, send a written notice to our designated contact below.

What the notice must contain

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of them.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to let us locate it — in practice, the full URL of each page concerned.
  4. Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Where to send it

Designated agent for copyright notices:
Email: dmca@mysurvivalzone.com
Postal address: the operator's address shown in the footer of this page.

Please write "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. Notices sent to other addresses may be delayed.

What happens next

On receiving a complete notice we review it promptly. Where the complaint appears well founded, we remove or disable access to the material concerned and inform whoever provided it. We keep a record of notices received and of the action taken.

Counter-notice

If material of yours was removed and you believe that removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) containing: your signature; identification of the material and the location it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, together with consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court and acceptance of service of process from the complaining party.

A word of caution

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you are unsure whether the use you are complaining about is infringing — for example, whether it is fair use — take advice before sending a notice.

Repeat infringement

It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to decline further dealings with anyone who repeatedly infringes the copyright of others.
